So we did nothing for Fireworks/Bonfire night. Really couldn't be bothered to stand like sardines up the city, especially because it was really cold and wet last night.
So instead we got a chinese. WHY? i have no idea. It just confirmed that i really hate the chinese food here. In Maidstone, i don't mind it at all, i actually LIKE it. But in MK it tastes like shit. I swear the chicken isn't chicken. It tastes absolutely rancid. So i spent all night feeling SO SICK until i finally managed to get to sleep!

I ordered Inkys bed (yes, i think i am 100% going with Inky Boo), harness and lead on friday night! Im so excited :3 It should be here on Thursday. Then after those arrive we just need to go to pets at home to pick up the last few bits, a couple of chew toys, a microwaveable comfort toy, puppy pads (peachy thought they were called puppy PANTS, and were like nappys. wut), and a few other little things. Then we are READDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! :D

mood: calm calm

So my mum called me today saying she had spoken to bobby, the guy who has the puppies.
they are all doing well and are putting weight on nicely, so thats all good news :)
he did say that yesterday, he had a mini panic, when upon going into where the pups are to sort them out, there were only 4... and there should be 5! so he started to panic and looked for the little lost pup.... who had managed to crawl out of the basket and around the back of it, and was asleep! And of course, it was our little boy! haha. He said he is a little mischief maker already!

Bought a couple of puppy bits today from poundland (!!!). Managed to get a little blanket (apparently, its nice for the pup to have the smell of their mother and fellow pups, especially in the car journey home, it should calm him down a bit, so i thought i could take the little blanket and give the others a little cuddle with the blanket before we leave!), small rope ball toy, and a red puppy collar and lead set. I think the collar is going to be far too big for him, but for £1 there is no harm in trying!

Super excited, and i cant stop thinking about things i need to buy etc!

So we went to Wales for the weekend to see Peachys sister who lives in Australia.
She was really weird, and actually quite rude more than once about neither of us having a job at the moment, basically saying that our house is probably a shit tip, that we cant afford anything etc. Urm... excuse me? You have never been to our house for a start, you have never even seen a picture of it, and you have never met me before...
fucking rude.
but of course i had to bite my lip and not say anything back because of 'family'.
boring.
oh well, at least she has gone back to Australia now and i hopefully never have to meet her ever again.

I can't wait for Christmas.
I usually love Halloween so much, and really look forward to it, but because of what happened at the beginning of the month, this month is just a complete blow out now.
This year, in fact, has been a complete pile of shit.
Just looking forward to Christmas shopping now, gingerbread lattes at starbucks, seeing family, Christmas presents and Christmas dinner, and that feeling of everything being cosy. I love it.
... plus we will be getting the puppy at Christmas! :D (If all goes according to plan, which, by the way the rest of the year has gone, could end in disaster).

I have made a puppy book.
Yes, i know.
but its just somewhere that i can write down things that i need to know, such as 'How to puppy proof the house' etc. And i have never had a puppy before, so its all new to me.
My mum keeps saying its all exciting like expecting a baby, and in a way it is :)

Christmas Pugs

Oct. 12th, 2011 | 07:41 pm
mood: drained drained

im feeling a little better today.
i still have to stop myself from crying all the time, and its really hard. Especially when people asked me what happened, ask me how i am or ask after Atari.
i feel like i have lost all my limbs.
the first 4 or 5 days i cried constantly. i thought i was going to die of a broken heart. thats honestly how i felt. I still feel like it now actually, its just like this terrible empty feeling.
i can see him everywhere.  everywhere i look i can see him playing, or trying to get the goldfish or jumping in the bath, like the little nutcase that he was.

my mum decided from the minute i told her what happened, that im getting a dog.
she said she thinks its the best way for me to move forward, because i will have something thats mine again, something to help grow, something to nurture.
i thought she was mad at first, and that it was a way to almost replace Atari. But now i can see what she means.

Everyone knows i have wanted a pug for as long as i can remember, but can never afford the £1000 that people ask for them.
but my mum called me today, and through a friend had called a guy in Wales who has lots of animals and lives on a farm.... and has a litter of pug puppies expected in the next couple of weeks. because the mother pug is 'on paper' 3/4 pug and not thoroughbred (even though the father is) he has said we can have one for around £300. So my mum has taken control of the situation (even though i live so far away) and is sorting it all out for me! So fingers crossed (and everything else) that luck will be in my favour for a change and all the pups will be healthy and there will be a little black male ready for me at christmas time! What a lovely christmas present, huh? :)
so im spending my time at the moment researching how to look after puppies, and making lists of things we need to buy, looking at puppy training classes etc, just to keep myself busy and not bursting into tears more than anything else i think right now.

At least thats something to look forward to. Maybe this year wont be a complete write off after all

i dont know what to do.
i cant stop crying.
im sure people think im mad, but he was like my kid, my little baby. He was more like a dog than a cat, and i just dont know what im gonna do now.
i cant stop crying :(

today sucks

Sep. 27th, 2011 | 02:41 pm
mood: sad sad

i know i havent posted here in forever, but i just wanted to post this where not everyone could see it.
my best friend is leaving today, to move back to australia.
i havent cried, even when she was saying goodbye to everyone at her going away party on friday.
we met up for breakfast and then she got her cab, and we just said 'see you later', and it sucks. Even though im going to see her again at some point, it still sucks.

got home, snacpped at my mum on the phone for no reason, felt like a cunt because of it, callde her back and said sorry, STILL feel like a cunt for doing it in the first place.

Darrens kinda bent out of shape because of her going away, so he is over here and Peachy and him are playing on the xbox, which means im stuck in the games room on the computer for the day basically. Great.

I had a can of monster this morning and its making me feel like im having a heart attack.

I really need to sort out my bedroom. there is so much washing to be done, and clothes to be sorted and folded. I just can't be bothered though.

Looking forward to tonight when i can just snuggle into bed and watch True Blood for a few hours.

Urgh.
